It’s been a very slow week for me blogging wise. We have been working all week on our projects in social studies and there hasn’t been a whole lot going on. However, today we did have our 2nd advisory period…and I’m pretty sure we partied.

One thing that I have been focusing on in these advisory periods is having fun activities. On Wednesday we took some time to play a game of Blind Man’s Bluff. In this game students were given index cards with a person, thing, or animal written on the card. They were asked to put the card to their head and then you begin to ask questions in an effort to figure out what your card says. Students really enjoyed this game and it is a nice ice breaker game to play with students. Students take turns asking questions and the first person to guess correctly wins the game.
