As a self-proclaimed Southern girl, I can honestly say that there is nothing better than living in the south.  Everything about our way of living if hospitable, heartfelt, and delicious!

In the south, food is a main point of society and it brings people together.  Some of  the food that describes our culture would be hush puppies and catfish, banana pudding, and just about everything fattening, fried, and filling.  Another strong part of our culture is how you dress. Girls in the south take pride in dressing up for just about every occasion and will never be found looking bad in public.  There’s a strong example of this at colleges in the SEC (South Eastern Conference).  At places like LSU, Georgia, and the U of A, the students love to dress up for football games, and other social events.

In the south everyone supports there college team, goes to football games, and loves to party/ tailgate.  People have pride in their family, hometown, and their neighbor.  At first we may seem like simple folk, but when you take a deeper look you see just how AWESOME we are!

I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else!
