For a blog post assignment, Mr. Mcclung asked me to write about different types of teaching and which I prefer.

There are always different kind of teachers who prefer everything to be taught in different styles. Some teachers think everything should be really calm and organized and kind of boring. Although other teachers think that it should be more vocal, and interactive, and fun, kind of like organized chaos. And I agree wtih this way of teaching a whole lot more than the other.

When teachers are really boring and slow paced with their class, it is no fun to be in that class and be learning with them. I dont know if I know of one student who likes the style of teaching that involves taking notes all day, and being clam and relaxed the whole time. Being active, and moving around, is alot more enjoyable and it helps some people learn better. Some people learn well by taking notes on everything, and some learn by hearing things, and others learn by actually interacting with it and doing the thing they are learning. And when you have a teaching who is interactive with you and your learning, it usually appeals to all three of these sections. This is because we are always moving around and participating with the learning (one of the three methods of learning), and when you are all talking about the activity your participating in it helps other people learm (the second of the three ways most people learn), and when you write about it on a blog post or a worksheet or notes, the third group of learners learn from this.

So I am definetly a believer of the active style class that Mr. McClung uses in his class.
