XC SummerMy cross country kids after one of our morning runs.

Ever since I found out that I would be coaching cross country this coming school year, I have been scrambling to schedule practice time to prepare us for the season. So far we have been able to squeeze in 7 summer workouts with 2 more remaining. During those workouts we have had a really good turn-out usually pulling some between 15-22 kids (about 2/3 of our team).

Our runs have taken us a variety of places so far ranging from our track, surrounding neighborhoods, local running trials, and the dreaded hill. Pictured above is our summer work-out crew after 0ur three mile run this morning. As you can tell by the lack of sunlight in the picture, we have been holding our runs early in the morning to beat the heat. We have two more
