Above is a screen shot of a teaching tool called EarthPluse. It is an application that is hosted on National Geographic’s Website. It serves as a resource for viewing maps, global trends, and human impact. The image you are viewing above is the import and export trends of different regions around the world. Today we also used it view the impact that globalization has had on trade, travel/tourism, and different cultures from around the world.

  1. I think this would be an neat tool for history teachers to use. It willdefinitely teach kids how to better use maps and such in the future.In my opinion I would use it as a cd in the history class as a neat reference.Good Job McClung!! Great Tool!!

I love thinking globally and seeing the big picture of things when it comes to how our world works. I will certainly make use of EarthPulse by National Geographic.
