One failed mileage vote a year ago and much lobbing this year, it is finally over…last night the millage election was held in Fayetteville and it passed with a vote of 55% for and 45% against the millage increase. With this millage passing what happens now is a basically an overhaul of Fayetteville High School. The money from the millage along with bond money will help fund the expansion and renovation of Fayetteville that will update athletic facilities, fine arts facilities, and learning areas as well. This is a long time coming for Fayetteville schools as the high school has been in need of renovation for sometime now, and with this years millage passing it will finally get the attention it needs.
