My motley crue of runners…

Yesterday we participated in the Wildcat Invitational that was held at Washington Jr. High in Bentonville, AR. Teams were scored in two different divisions, jr. high (7-8) and 9th grade…I’ll get right into the results by talking about our girls team.

9th Grade Girls (our only girls team)

• As a team we finished 4th overall
• We had four girls finish in the top 30 (out of 70 runners)
  • Avery Tubb – 26th
  • Jasmine Howard – 15th
  • Kara Tubb – 8th
  • Bella Alves – 4th

Jr. High Boys

• Finished 3rd overall
• We had 4 boys place in the top 30 (out of 208 runners)
  • Matt Parisi – 21st
  • Andrew Henry – 14th
  • Collin Pilkington – 12th
  • Jordan Pilkington – 4th

9th Grade Boys

• We placed 6th overall
• We had 3 boys place in the top 30 (out of 80 runners)
  • Will Hardgraves – 26th
  • Patrick Ragan – 22nd
  • Tim Scarbrough – 5th

Overall this was a very successful meet and it shows that our kids are starting to make some big improvements on their times. Our next race will be on October 5th at Rogers, AR.
