photo(2)Tuesday we competed at the Rogers Invitational in Rogers, AR. A total 24 schools were represented at this meet which made it by far the largest cross country meet we have participated in this school year…here’s how we did.

Boys (click here for complete results)

  • In the boys division we finished in 5th place out of 24 teams with an average time of 12:06.
  • We also had 4 boys finish in the top 50 out of the 423 that competed
    • Tim Scarbrough – 21st
    • Jordan Pilkington – 22nd
    • Andrew Henry – 39th
    • Matthew Parisi – 49th

Girls (click here for complete results)

  • Our girls finished 12th overall of the 23 teams that competed with an average time of 15:01
  • We had two girls finish in the top 50 of the 319 that competed
    • Bella Alves – 25th
    • Kara Tubb – 49th

In addition to posting good numbers as a team, we also had a lot of runners that posted their personal best time in a 2 mile race. What’s next for us is some well deserved time off, we will be back in action on the 16th of October when we participate in the Chili Pepper 5k at Agri Park in Fayetteville.
