Even though we have long wrapped up our conversations about the economy and the Subprime Mortgage Crisis, I thought I would share a recent find with everyone. My favorite radio program, This American Life, recently released a radio program in which their planet money team of reporters bought a toxic asset…or in other words, they bought a mortgage backed security to see what exactly is so bad about these assets. So if you get a chance give this program a listen, it is a great supplemental piece to what we have already discussed in class.
