Lesson One -Black Tie Affair

Today is the day…the McClungs are finally here. Today in my history classes we will be celebrating excellence in education but presenting McClung Awards to all those that were deemed as being exemplary performance in class.

Lesson Two – Final Thoughts on Central

Today we will be wrapping up our video 50 Years Later, a story about the desegregation of Little Rock Central. My students will be reflecting on this movie upon it’s conclusion and will likely be posting their reflections later today…stay tuned.

Lesson Four – All Good Things…

…must come to an end. Today marks the end to our last regular week of the school year. Majority of next week we will be on a short schedule because of finals and we all here will be wrapping up the 2010-2011 school year. Also, this is our last lessons learned of the school year as well. There will be plenty of reflection and final thoughts next week on the blog, but for now I will say that this has been an excellent year and I will truly hate seeing everyone move on to the 9th grade.
