With this being the start of a brand new school year, there are plenty of icebreakers and “get to know you games” flying around Woodland this week. In my class, we have a simply name tag game that is very unoriginal. Students are asked to put their name on a tent name card and draw three pictures that describe them in some way. The picture above is of my own name tag…as you can see I dedicated it to my two dogs since they are the only actual pictures I have on my name tag. My students are required to bring their name tags to my class this entire week so that I can hopefully get all 150 of their names memorized.
