I’ve been a bit behind, but not too long ago my students finished up their create your own country project. In this project students were given the opportunity to create a country that had the style of government and economy of their choice. Students were asked to create a PowerPoint presentation for their country.
They were also asked to create a map of their country.
As well as a flag that used symbols that represented their country.

I am a student at the University of South Alabama enrolled in EDM310. I really like the fact that the Country is made up and that the children were able to be creative in this assignment. I really liked the map because there is a place there I would like to visit called Peanut Butter Cup Fields. (my favorite) 🙂
