In class on Wednesday we talked at length about how do you create change when you don’t agree with a situation. We took a look two major groups that are trying to create a change in America; the Occupy Wall Street movement and the Westboro Independent Baptist Church. Both are well known for their protest sessions and how they go about trying to convey their message to everyone else. After watching a couple of informative videos about Occupy and Westboro, my students and I evaluated how effective both groups are in trying to create a change.
